LUX

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about what LUX does today, what it costs and what to know before you use it.

What is LUX?

LUX is a rotation helper for World of Warcraft Retail (Midnight), currently game client 12.1.0. It is version 0.1.0, a public beta. It runs a rotation for you and gives you an in-game window (/lux) to set it up.

Which specs work today?

Rogue Assassination only. That is the one spec with a real rotation. The other classes and specs are not built yet.

Is it safe to use?

We cannot promise that. Using third-party automation goes against Blizzard's Terms of Service and can lead to account action, including suspension or a ban. You use LUX at your own risk.

Is it detectable?

We do not claim that it is not. Assume that it can be detected.

What does it cost?

Beta prices in USD. The Everything bundle is $3 for 1 day, $9 for 1 week and $23 for 1 month. The Unlocker alone is $2, $6 and $15. The Rogue pack, which needs the Unlocker, is $1.50, $5 and $11. There is no trial.

Can I buy it now?

Yes, from the pricing page, by card or with USDT.

What do I download?

One file: the launcher (LUX.exe, you can rename it). LUX is not installed as a file on your PC. It is loaded into the game after your license is checked.

How do I start it?

Start World of Warcraft yourself and wait for the login screen. Close the Battle.net app before you attach; the game keeps running without it. Run the launcher, enter your key once (it is remembered on this PC, encrypted) and click Attach to game. The launcher closes by itself. In game, type /lux.

What happens when my license ends?

The rotation stops and the game shows in red in chat: License expired or could not be renewed - LUX has stopped. Check your key and internet connection, then type /reload.

Where do my own scripts and rotation files go?

Into C:\Users\Public\LUX\scripts. Every .lua file (your own scripts) and every .luxr file (a protected rotation you bought) in it is loaded when you type /reload in game. The launcher has an Open scripts folder link.

Can I use two keys?

Yes. Several keys can be active at once, for example an unlocker key and a rotation key. The one that ends first never hides the others.

How do I pay?

By card (Stripe Checkout) or with USDT on the TRON network, from the pricing page. Your key is shown on the order page right after payment. Save it there, because that order link is the only way to see it again.

Which crypto network?

USDT on the TRON (TRC20) network only. Send exactly the amount shown, without rounding. Another coin or another network is lost and cannot be recovered.

I paid but see no key.

Keep the order page open and wait for the payment to be confirmed. It updates by itself. If nothing changes, write to support@luaunlocker.com and include the address of the order page.

Will Windows or my antivirus warn about the launcher?

Possibly. The launcher is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run. Compare the SHA-256 on the get-started page with your file. Antivirus programs sometimes flag tools like this. If yours does, contact support.

What happens on patch day?

When a patch breaks LUX, subscriptions are frozen. Active customers get the frozen time added back automatically, so you do not pay for patch downtime.

How many computers can I use a key on?

One. A key works on one computer. It is checked online when the launcher starts and refreshed every few minutes, so you need an internet connection.

What if I change PC?

Contact support. A key is tied to one computer.

Can I write my own rotations?

Yes. LUX has an open Lua API (LUX.API). Custom scripts need the Unlocker license. See the API documentation.

How do I contact support?

Email support@luaunlocker.com. Include what you see and, for a key problem, the key.

Can I get a refund?

No refund once a key has been activated and works. An unactivated key can be refunded within 14 days. A refund or a chargeback revokes the key automatically. This is a draft policy; read the refund page.

Does LUX work on MoP Classic or other Classic versions?

No. LUX is for Retail only.
